Join Second Opinions at the Erie Family Health Centers & CommunityHealth Project Showcase
Second Opinions, a pro-bono healthcare consulting group for community health centers focused on improving healthcare outcomes for Chicago’s most underserved populations, will be holding its first public showcase on Wednesday, March 7. The showcase is co-sponsored by CHiP and Northwestern University’s Institute of Public Health and Medicine (IPHAM).
Second Opinions is comprised of medical students at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. The project showcase will highlight the group’s achievements with two of its clients, Erie Family Health Centers and CommunityHealth Chicago. A Federally Qualified Health Center, Erie Family Health Center delivers care to almost 70,000 patients, primarily in the Southwest side of Chicago. CommunityHealth Chicago is the largest volunteer-based free medical facility in the nation, and provides more than 15,000 medical and dental visits to thousands of patients.
The Second Opinions showcase will take place on March 7, from 5:00 – 6:30pm, at the Baldwin Auditorium (303 E Superior St). Dinner will be served. To attend, please register here.
